Mullin, the 'iron man' of the Detroit pitching staff, has played major league ball since 1902. He is a big right-handed thrower and batter, and is the club's emergency sticker. He is six feet tall and weighs over 200 pounds. Copyrighted and published by A.C. Dietsche, Detroit, Mich., 1907." Handwritten on card back: "Mon. Nov. 9 '08. 4.30p.m. This has been a nice day and very much warmer. I sent the gloves back today, by mail. Everything O.K. Well tomorrow the deer season opens, and I suppose there are a lot of fellows gone out to the woods. I see by the paper where a lot have crossed the straits. E.A.S." Card is postmarked November 9, 1908.
