The manager of the Chicago Cubs, and one of the best players in the Naitonal League, used to sell peanuts and tonics in the St. Louis Cardinals ball park, when he was a boy. Started as an outfielder but later changed to first base. Grimm played five years with Pittsburgh and has been with the Cubs eight seasons. He became manager in 1932. He is a fine fielder and a dangerous batter. He bats and throws left-handed, is 5 feet, 11-1/2 inches tall and weighs 173. He is 33 years of age. Batted .307 in 149 games.
