Jennings, manager of the Detroit Team, started playing professionally in 1890. He did his best work when with the Baltimore Club as shortstop, which position he played for five years. He was drafted by Detroit in 1906 from Baltimore. Jennings' aggressive coaching has made the Detroit team an attraction all over the country. Copyrighted and published by A.C. Dietsche, Detroit, Mich., 1907." Handwritten on card back: "4.00p.m. Oct 18, 08. This is a fine day and quite warm. Not much doing. May write tonight. Just got through writing Warren a letter. Will send you the whole Tigers team. Here is Jennings. Hoping you are all well and with love. E.A.S." Card is postmarked October 18, 1908.
