Joined the Giants in 1928. Pitched no hit no run game May 8, 1929 against Pittsburgh Pirates. 6 ft. tall, weighs 170 pounds. Established league record for consecutive scoreless innings, 46, from July 13 to August 1, 1933. Gained 10 shut outs during the season. This is one of a series of 240 baseball stars.
