View of baseball umpire being pelted with bottles and lemons; crossed baseball bats and baseball on right. Printed on front: "Baseball. A peaceful man he claims to be, and justice to admire; yet at the game he is the first to 'mob' the poor umpire. Copyright 1908 by H.M. Rose." Artist signed drawing with WH in circle. Handwritten on back: "Hello, Fred, how are you. I heard that hurt. I hope it is not bad. Write and let me how you are. Tommy." Card is postmarked July 9, 1908.
