Description
Students of the Williams School sitting in large classroom enjoying a bottle of milk. The children are seated at table in "U" formation each with a bottle of milk and straw, a little girl is standing with a plate of cookies on the left. In the center of the room wooden blocks are stacked to form a table and chairs for two dolls. Wooden crate on floor stamped with "Detroit Creamery Company." Back wall is decorated with pictures of birds and framed pictures. Poster on back cabinet reads "A Bottle a Day," poster on door reads "We Need Milk." Handwritten on front: "Milk Distribution, Williams School, April, 1921." Stamped on back: "Harvey C. Jackson, Photographer, Cherry 6054-M, 2614 Beaubien St. Detroit, Mich."
