Andrews Rail-Road Hotel; Henry C. Ripley, grocer; livery stable; Odd Fellows' Hall; Melodeon manufactory. Stamped on front: "Burton Historical Collection." Handwritten on the back: "Presentation of Colors to 1st Regiment, May 11th, 1861, on Campus Martius, Andrew's Railroad Hotel in the center background (site of later Detroit Opera House)." Handwritten on duplicate print back: "Presentation of colors to First Mich. Infantry, May 11, 1861. Andrew's Railroad Hotel. Spire of First Presbyterian Church. Jex Bardwell."
