Description
View of one-story brick commercial building on corner of Grand River and 14th Street in Detroit, Michigan. Two large billboards on roof: "Velvet brand ice cream, made by Detroit Creamery, cor. Cass and Gd. River, finest in the world, sold by best dealers all over the city" and "Budweiser spells temperance." The Budweiser billboard was part of its "National Hero Series" that ran in 1914. "Shattock the motorcycle man" business on corner, is located at 862 Grand River Avenue. Two men stand in building entrance; two men stand on sidewalk. Recorded in glass negative ledger: "D/Signs & signboards."
