Exhibition booth showing steps leading up to an abbey door, a statue of a woman holding a vase and plants arranged near steps. Negative for stereocard, the back of which states "Views of the booths as shown in the Author's Carnival, held in Detroit at Young Men's Hall, June 7th to 12th, 1875 for the benefit of the Young Men's Christian Association and Home of the Friendless, Nurenburg [Nuremberg?] Abbey, photographed and published by Jex Bardwell for the associations, copyright 1875, by Jex Bardwell." Recorded in glass negative ledger: "D/Exhibitions."
