Description
Wooden building built with unsplit, unhewn log trim as pseudo-half timbering, stands in a clearing among tall, mature trees. Two men, one seated on a bench, one standing, are at one corner of the building. Ladder leans at opposite corner. Also have print from negative. Printed on albumen print card back: "Photographic sketches, in and about the city of Detroit. Consisting of street and marine views, public buildings, churches, monumental, and other objects of interest. Photographed and published by Jex Bardwell." Handwritten on card back: "Belle Isle Park. Tool house." Recorded in glass negative ledger: "D/Parks-Belle Isle-Buildings."
