Description
Building at corner of Jefferson and Rivard built as a store by Mason and Rice architectural firm in 1883, in Romanesque revival style. Jefferson Ave. Presbyterian Church, built in 1891 by Bradford L. Gilbert, is next to it. Also have print from negative. Handwritten on albumen print mat front: "Looking E on Jeffr. Ave. from Hastings [corrected to Rivard] St." Handwritten on albumen print mat back: "Tower of Jefferson Ave. Presyterian church." Recorded in glass negative ledger: "D/Streets-Jefferson & Rivard, c.1908."
