Second Empire brick house, viewed at an angle across road in winter. Carriage house with cupola behind. Clapboard house belonged to Daniel J. Campau. Written on glass negative envelope: "530 Jefferson." Also have print made from negative. Arrow on cabinet card pointing at frame house. Printed on cabinet card back: "New series. Panoramic and cabinet sketches, in and about the city of Detroit. Photographed and published by Jex Bardwell, 31 Monroe Avenue." Handwritten on albumen cabinet card back: "Frame house is that of D.J. Campau, 500 Jefferson Ave., 1881." Recorded in glass negative ledger: "D/Streets-Jefferson."
