R.C. Taylor cut-rate jeweler on the corner of Washington Blvd. and Grand River, next door is Wright & Co. photographers; on Grand River, the Wirick Glove Shop and Baldwin Hotel, an eight-story building in background has "Hotel Griswold" painted on it, streetcar for Third Ave. in view along with several well-dressed women. Car parked by photographer, and horse-drawn wagon just visible on Grand River. Also have print from negative. Handwritten on albumen print stock back: "N.E. corner Washington and Grand River, 1913. Later, the site of the Industrial Bank Building." Recorded in glass negative ledger: "D/Streets-Washington."
