Bronze archway leading into to what is now Music & Performing Arts department at Detroit Public Library. The entrance is one of five designed by John Donnelly, Jr., and is composed of three openings, divided by columns with Corinthian capitals and bronze pilasters ornamented in low relief by symbolic cow's skulls, books, lamps and owls. Recorded in lantern slide ledger: "D/Public Library-Open Shelf room."
