Gold mount. Dome topped. Exhibition based on John Greenleaf Whittier's, Maud Muller, a young woman holding a rake stands surrounded by wheat, a man and a horse are posed near her. Printed on stereocard back: "Views of the booths as shown in the Author's Carnival, held in Detroit at Young Men's Hall, June 7th to 12th, 1875 for the benefit of the Young Men's Christian Association and Home of the Friendless, Maud Muller, Whittier, photographed and published by Jex Bardwell for the associations, copyright 1875, by Jex Bardwell."
