Gold mount. Dome topped. Exhibit booth based on Charles Dickens' story, Old curiosity shop, a young woman sits in side window of booth under a sign that reads, "Jennie Wren dolls dress maker", surrounded by dolls, a young man sits behind counter on which dolls and other toys are displayed. Printed on stereocard back: "Views of the booths as shown in the Author's Carnival, held in Detroit at Young Men's Hall, June 7th to 12th, 1875 for the benefit of the Young Men's Christian Association and Home of the Friendless, Old Curiosity Shop, Dickens, photographed and published by Jex Bardwell for the associations, copyright 1875, by Jex Bardwell."
