Gold mount. Dome topped. Exhibit booth representing Washington Irving's story, Legend of the Arabian astrologer, a curtained booth bearing signs, "Astrologer" and "future revealed", other articles in booth include, a globe, human skull, maps, and bottles. Printed on stereocard back: "Views of the booths as shown in the Author's Carnival, held in Detroit at Young Men's Hall, June 7th to 12th, 1875 for the benefit of the Young Men's Christian Association and Home of the Friendless, Astrologer, Irving, photographed and published by Jex Bardwell for the associations, copyright 1875, by Jex Bardwell."
