Description
Brady Street entrance to Recreation Park, used as baseball stadium for Detroit Wolverines from 1881-1888, then demolished in 1894. Entrance to park is a house-like two-story structure, with shuttered windows and white fence surrounding. Young men gathered around building, and athletic track can be seen behind house. Handwritten on back: "Entrance to Recreation Park, north side Brady St. between John R and Brush, 1879."
