Building with bas relief columns, stairs, arched windows, and arched main entry, viewed from a height diagonally across intersection. Other, taller, buildings on both sides. Trucks and cars on both streets; pedestrians on sidewalks. Written on building: 1874; Join Order of Stags; First State Bank; Hannan Real Estate Exchange; Postal Telegraph; Central Shoe. Former Mechanics Hall. Signs about moving sales and new addresses; building to be demolished by General Wrecking Company. Stamped on photograph back: "Spenser & Wyckoff, photographers, Detroit." Handwritten on photograph back: "McGraw Building, razed in June 1924. [?] Burton."
