Handwritten on back: "Junction of Lafayette & Griswold, looking west on Michigan. Hotel Cadillac was at cor. of Washington Blvd., c.1902." Stamped on back: "From Alvord & Co., exclusively commercial photographers, 55 Rowland St., Detroit, Mich., ground floor."
