One-room wooden structure with small stable beside, one horse standing within. Carriages parked outside, large piles of hay beside stable. Handwritten on back: "Thought to be on Belle Isle or Grosse Isle, about 1880." Stamped on back: "Photographic sketches in and about the city of Detroit, consisting of street and marine views, public buildings, churches, monumental and other objects of interest.
