Description
Three-story brick house, with dormer windows, Mansard roof and ivy growing on exterior, cars parked in front and along side, large building behind it. Handwritten on back: "Residence built by Charles Root at 134 Fort St. west, new number 454, Wm. J. Chittenden, proprietor of the Russell House lived in it many years. On the next lot at the n.e. corner of Fort and First was the home of James F. Joy, now demolished."
