Smith (?); John Hanna and Company, tobacconists; [?], wholesale clothing; E. Lafavour, boots and shoes; Hall, clothing. Printed on label on card back (blanks not filled in): "Taken by J.J. Bardwell, photographic artist, Detroit, Michigan. Letter, ___ Name, ______ In ordering duplcate copies, please give the letter and name, as above." Handwritten on mat back: "East side of Woodward Ave., north of Congress St., in 1859. 60." Some water damage on photograph. Card corner broken.
