Italianate brick house with central cupola. Two women stand in open doorway; man sits on steps; men in front of house; another man loads furniture onto horse-drawn cart. Notice posted on porch pillar. Handwritten on mat back: "Mary Thompson homestead now being torn down. S.e. cor. Fort & Shelby St. June 3, 1898." Photograph faded irregularly.
