Description
Wooden-frame Colonial style house, residence of early settler, surveyor, and schoolteacher Franklin H. Jerome. Handwritten on back: "Edwin Jerome house on Wash. Blvd. W. side of street near Bagley Mansion. Mr. Jerome was one of early American settlers, noted surveyor and sometimes taught private schools. Old landmark was razed to make room for Hotel Statler." Label on back: "Site of Hotel Statler." Photo has some color retouching.
