Fireplace with marble surround and carved wooden mantelpiece with plate glass mirror. Grate is basket hanging from chains; coffered ceiling with bas relief; clock and objets d'art on mantel; upholstered chairs on both sides. Fringed shaded electric lamps both sides of mirror; central electric chandelier in medallion reflected in mirror. Stamped on mat back: "The Allgeier Co., photos, Chicago."
