View of Labadie house in winter; wooden-frame house with covered porch. Handwritten on back: "Old label read: Old Labadie House. It stood on the American side of the river and the logs of which it was built received a shower of bullets during the War of 1812. It was afterwards covered with clapboards. This picture was made from a photo." Crossed off: "before it was torn down."
