Fire fighters posed on fire engine at station entrance. Two men stand in open doorway. Handwritten on card front: "From a dairy [diary] of 1879 L.S.T., L.S.T.=Luther Stephen Trowbridge, 1836-1912." Printed on card back: "Location of fire alarm boxes [numbers and intersections], presented by D.A. DeForest, (successor to J.A. Brush) photographer, fine work and reasonable prices. Corner Woodward Avenue and Larned Street, Detroit, Mich."
