Brick Italianate house behind wrought metal fence, viewed at an angle across street and sidewalk, with stables behind. Man on horse in street; two boys on sidewalk by fence. Handwritten on card front: "Tonic." Handwritten on card back: "Residence of George W. Bissell, up to 1901 and James E. Davis (son-in-law of Mr. Bissell) up to sale, Jany 14th 1911. 144 Lafayette Ave., n.e. cor. Second St. 108." Some lines enhanced with ink.
