Interior of St. Paul's Memorial Chapel, built in 1895 at the corner of Woodward Ave. and Hancock. The congregation of St. Paul's, at the time this photograph was taken, worshiped in a church at Shelby and Congress, built in 1852. Chapel is decorated with garland and wreaths. Details of stained glass window and organ pipes; pews in foreground; photo looks toward altar. Back of photo has drawing of St. Paul's Memorial Chapel and short newspaper article, describing a Memorial Tablet placed in the church. Tablet inscription: "This building was erected in loving memory of Anna Eliza Eaton, Born March 4, 1816, died November 5, 1879, by her son, Theodore H. Eaton, A.D. 1895."
