Workmen by frame for foundation of extension on 1897 Post Office building. Concrete laid in some stretches. Cars parked on street. One man holds shovel. Lumber visible through arched window opening. Signs visible include: "Kahn Building Products, Trussed Concrete Steel Co.," "International Vaudeville Exchange," "Lafayette Booking Co.," lunch counter. Handwritten on photograph back: "East [?] of old drive, Aug. 1, 1915, from MS/U.S. Post Office & custom house."
