Brick building, formerly church. Wagons parked on streets, utility poles. Sign on building: "Mitchell storage warehouse." Handwritten on photograph front: "Name plate, front of church, Eglise methodiste episco Francaise, 1852. 115." Handwritten on stock back: "Eglilse methodiste episcopale Franciase, 1914. Built 1852, dedicated Nov. 20, 1853, sold to a congregation of Jews in 1861, for $3500, then sold for business purposes. Location: 220-226 Rivard, cor Monroe. See Farmer, Hist. of Detroit, p.578."
