Batten and board church with bell tower behind picket fence on unpaved road. Stand of trees beyond, houses behind. Advertising on signs beside church and on fence at the corner: The Star [clothi]ng house, Welsh's wood yard, Sozodont polish, Walkers vinegar. Handwritten on card back: "Jefferson Ave. M.E. Church, south side near St. Aubin in 1876. Afterwards Mary W. Palmer Memorial M.E. Church, s.w. cor. McDougall Ave. & Lafayette E."
