View of Starkweather Hall, a Richardsonian Romanesque style building made of local fieldstone and designed by Malcomson & Higginbotham, completed in 1896, orginally part of the State Normal School, now part of Eastern Michigan University. Printed on front of photo: "Malcomson & Higginbotham, archt's, Detroit, Mich., Students Christian Ass'n, Ypsilanti, Mich." Sticker on back is a label for Detroit Architectural club Exhibition of 1903, printed on label: "Students Christian Association, Ypsilanti, Mich., Malcomson & Higginbotham, 53 + 54 Staff Bldg."
