Description

Piles for new dock for Potts Salt and Lumber Co. in Delray neighborhood of Detroit. Double-masted boat under sail and triple-masted ship with no sail set beyond piles. Tan mat which was later painted blue. Handwritten on mat front: "Potts Salt & Lbre Co; E2." Typed on label on mat front: "New dock about 1898."
