Victorian house with gingerbread trim, bay windows, and wraparound porch, set on artificial rise. Smaller building behind somewhat obscured by trees and small piece of mirror-image house at left edge (should be house of John S. Newberry). Handwritten on front: "McMillan." Handwritten on back: "James Mcmillans, Grosse Pointe, 1886. See: 977.4G91 H14, Grosse Pointe on Lake Sainte Claire ... 1886, p.65."
