Wooden church with elaborate belfry tower, decorated gables above windows, shutters. Behind picket fence, with stable in background. Handwritten on back: "Protestant Church, Grosse Pointe, 1886. Cor. Kerby Rd. and Lake Shore Rd. (Henry B. Joy property). built 1876. Mr. & Mrs. Henry B. Joy were married in this church."
