Cabinet card photograph of Lt. Col. C.L. Boynton in uniform, from the Detroit Light Infantry Veterans Corps photo album. The Corps is an offshoot of the Detroit Light Guard. Handwritten on a piece of paper pasted along the bottom of the front: "Lt. Col. C. L. Boynton, 3d Infty M.N.G." Embossed on mat front: "White & Co., Port Huron, Mich." Printed on back: drawing of the J.M. White & Co. building front and "J.M. White & Co. photographers, 1102 Military Street, Port Huron, Mich."
