Palmer, in 1893 and is situated north of the city at the extreme terminal of the Woodward Ave. car line; is one of the city's favorite breathing spots. Its center is a log cabin, which is an exact reproduction of the home in which Senator Palmer resided when Detroit was little more than a trading post." Valentine-Souvenir Co. publisher trademark printed on back of card. Handwritten on back: "Dear Angie & Jill, Those were the good old days!? Glad to get your card. Looks like a perfect vacation land. Hope you get some coolness, little here. Take a lake ride for me. All as usual here, have the front about finished. Have a good time daily. We miss you here. Love, E.A.J."
