View of pavilion at the edge of lake in Palmer Park. Men and women stand on path surrounding lake, watching the ducks. Printed on front: "Pavilion and lake, Palmer Park, Detroit, Mich." Printed on back: "Pavilion and lake, Palmer Park, Detroit, Mich. Palmer Park is 6 1/2 miles out Woodward Avenue and contains 130 acres. It was presented to the city in 1893 by Senator Thos. Palmer. It contains two lakes and six miles of roadway. Here is located the log cabin designed and built by Mrs. Palmer. C.T. Co., Chicago, R-72773." Handwritten on back: "Dear Sister, I got hear [sic] all right I stood all the way down. I don't know much for now from Minnie." Card is postmarked April 24, 1918.
