Description
Front and side view of Y.M.C.A. building; multistory brick and stone building has cupola on roof. Printed on front: "New Y.M.C.A. building, Detroit, Mich." Printed on back: "1396, the new Y.M.C.A. building, corner Witherell and Adams Avenues, is the largest and most complete of its kind in the world and boasts of a gymnasium second to none in the country. It was erected in 1908 and has cost in the neighborhood of $700,000." Handwritten on back: "Dear Friend, Will write in a few days. Baby is quite well again. Busy painting, have three pupils. Hope you are all well & happy ... heaps of love, yours Edna." Card is postmarked October 31, 191[?].
