View of lighthouse on small island on lake at Palmer Park; young girl stands on edge of lake, feeding the ducks. Printed on front: "Feeding the ducks at Palmer Park, Detroit, Mich." Printed on back: "Published for S.H. Knox & Co. Made in Germany." Handwritten on back: "Detroit, Mich., Feb. 17 at 908. Dear friend Florence, I received your handsome card. Well. I have just came out of the hospital yesterday after 15 weeks sickness, but am doing fine now. I got hurt at the shop. Well. I expect to be in Rochester soon, so do not write till you hear from me again as I am going to change my address. Geo." Card is postmarked February 2, 1908.
