View of well and bucket enclosed by a rustic log shelter at Palmer Park. Lighthouse on lake in background. Printed on front: "Old oaken bucket & rustic well, Palmer Park." 1369, Palmer Park. Built on land donated to the city by ex-Senator Thomas W. Palmer, in 1893, and is situated north of city at the extreme terminal of the Woodward Ave. car line; is one of the city's favorite breathing spots. Its center is a log cabin, which is an exact reproduction of the home in which Senator Palmer resided when Detroit was little more than a trading post." Handwritten on back in upper right corner: "5/26/11."
