Palmer in 1893, and situated north of the city at the extreme terminal of the Woodward Avenue car line, is one of the city's favorite breathing spots. Its center piece is a log cabin which is an exact reproduction of the home in which Senator Palmer resided when Detroit was a little more than a trading post." Handwritten on back: "Thurs. a.m. Dear Mama, Mailed the pkg this morning. A letter from Jay says Florence left that day for Ypsi & must be there by this time. I went on acct of her mother's illness, but said he didn't know whether she'd have time to get to Saline or not. Can't you go down. If you say so maybe I could meet you next Tues. Now to go to Brighton Sun." Card is postmarked October 22, 1914. Logo printed on back: "C.T. Co., Chicago, R-27329."
