View of Hazen S. Pingree monument at Grand Circus Park. Printed on front: "Pingree monument, West Grand Circus Park, Detroit, Mich." Printed on back: "The Pingree monument in West Grand Circus Park, was erected in 1904 by popular subscription. The late Hazen S. Pingree was four times mayor of Detroit, and twice governor of Michigan. He died June 18th, 1901, aged 60 years." Handwritten on back: "Dear Mama, I am feeling well. I think I will be in a wheelcair this afternoon. I will tell you tomorrow. I did not write any card yesterday because I wrote a letter instead. Your son, Haviland." Card is postmarked May 8, 1913.
