Handwritten on back: "Well Beatrice, I am still on earth but really I feel like 'lost lamb' I am trying to forget & not be homesick but I am. Ma & Pa left a week ago haven't heard from them tell me the news. Love to you, Fritz. Hug the papoose for me." Card is postmarked November 9, 1910.
