Printed on front: "Light-house, Palmer Park, Detroit, Mich." Printed on back: "Light house, Palmer Park, built on land donated to the city ex-Senator Thomas W. Palmer in 1893 and situated north of the city at the extreme terminal of the Woodward Ave. car line, is one of the city's favorite breathing spots. Its centre piece is a log cabin which is an exact reproduction of the home in which Senator Palmer resided when Detroit was a little more than a trading post. 127, published by A.C. Dietsche, Detroit, Mich. and Frankfort, Germany. Made in Germany." Handwritten on back: "Hello Peet, How is it that I never hear from you anymore. I am at Detroit for awhile. Hope to see you when I return if you're not busy. I am enjoying myself in fine style. Yours as ever, M." Card is postmarked July 24, 1909.
