Angled front view of three-story brick building on corner of Riopelle and Congress, parcel 54, in the area bounded by Hastings/Dequindre/Larned/Congress, site 3-S-1. Second Empire style, with mansard roof, central tower topped by iron railing, dormer windows, and bay windows. Possibly a house converted to commercial; plate-glass window by corner entry. Small "For sale" sign on wall. "Standard" sign reflected in window. Sign reading "Salada tea" in neighboring wooden-frame house converted with plate-glass window. Cars parked on street. Handwritten on front: "Par. 54, 1394-98 E. Congress, S.E. cor. Riopelle & Congress, 9-27-51."
