Union Depot
Front and side view of Union Depot; brick Romanesque Revival building has square clock tower on corner. Streetcar adjacent to building. Printed on front: "Union Depot, Detroit, Mich." Printed on back: "The Union Depot. Situated at the corner of Fort and Third Streets, furnishes a method of ingress and egress for the Wabash, Pere Marquette and Canadian Pacific Railways. It was built in 1894, and is controlled by a holding company of the roads interested." Handwritten on back: "Rec'd yours and mother's letters and got one from Dad this p.m. I will write tomorrow as I havn't [sic] much news just now. It has been quite cold here the last couple of days and we have had some snow. Do not know what is on for tonight. Everything is O.K. With love to all, E.A.S. 11/19/09." Card is postmarked November 19, 1909.
