Typed on back: "Photograph of a chorus choir composed of members of Detroit churches, which led the music at the meetings of the Michigan State Sunday School Convention, in Detroit, 1908. Meetings were held in Woodward Ave. Baptist Church, corner Woodward and Winder Streets. Belle Chaffee and Olive Mitchell, second row from top, 7th and 8th from left, with three young men in third row, all from First Baptist Church, were members of the choir, which was directed by Grant Colfax Tuller, well known as a writer of hymns and their music. Mr. Tuller stands behind the sign draped on the reading desk."
